Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young... a place near your altar, O Lord Almighty, my King and my God." Psalm 84:3

chickens in love

We played our favorite family board game, "Chatter Matters" the other night (Josiah won and was VERY happy about it) On Caleb's turn he had to draw "a kiss". He did, then got a flash of creative insight and made them kissing chickens....

I found it so inspirational I hung it on our rotating art gallery, known as the fridge.

This was the conversation overheard between Sam and Caleb yesterday:

Sam: (with disdain) "Yuck! Chickens kissing. Why would you even draw that?"

Caleb: (incredulously) "What's wrong with it!?!"

Sam: "In the first place, chickens don't even have lips. They have beaks. They couldn't kiss, if they wanted to. Which they wouldn't."

Caleb: "Well, use your imagination!"

Sam: "If I did?

I wouldn't imagine THAT."

I can't wait to hear the conversations between my kiddos when they get older! I hope they are as funny as yours!
