Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young... a place near your altar, O Lord Almighty, my King and my God." Psalm 84:3

can't believe I forgot

The great news!
I am at 98% GOAL for the fundraising! THANK YOU to all who gave and know that your money will be a great blessing to patients everywhere, suffering with leukemia or lymphoma.

This Saturday and Sunday I will be at the Piccadilly Flea Market (at the fairgrounds) selling antiques and "junque" to help pay for our trip. John and I realized we'll need money for food, (especially carbs-that San Fran sourdough ought to help my glucose levels rise to pre-race levels!) those 4 days, gas to get to Portland, airport parking fees, and a memento or too.
Nike sponsors the race but makes plenty of money on it too. They charge $35 for a cotton t-shirt! and I have to, at the very least, get a t-shirt...

So we are having another little "fundraiser" this time, for ourselves. If you are in the area, come down and say hello! You know I give my friends hefty discounts :)
