Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young... a place near your altar, O Lord Almighty, my King and my God." Psalm 84:3

up on the rooftop...

I wasn't at home when these photos were taken the other day. I found them this morning while reviewing the images on our digital camera. Look at Caleb's proud stance here. Daddy is in charge and heights must be conquered before the overprotective Mama gets home!

Okay. I shrieked just a little bit when I first saw these images. Wondering what OTHER stunts Daddy may allow when I am out buying groceries? Wondering just why my precious babies are up on the roof when we still do not have health insurance coverage?
Okay, I get it. (deep breath). Clearly, Sam was getting the Monster Frisbee that has been stuck up there for a month. And they are all okay and no bones were broken (this time!). This is fine... They are not pre-schoolers anymore... deep breathing...I can trust my husband...I can trust God....I can leave the house again....deep breathing....

What?!?!

Who allowed my little baby to hang his precious, fragile head over the glass skylight?!!!
