This is a blog I check almost everyday... If she lived in our town, I would be all stalking her and weird and drive over to her house and say 'hey lets be friends.' Through the narrow crack of the front door she'd be tightly clutching shut, I would verbally run down this little list, just to convince her I was safe:
1.I am "Sparrow Journey" and she is "The Nester". That is obvious enough right? but there is so much more- 2.She has all boys. It takes a certain level of crazy to live among that kind of testosterone. I am that crazy.
3.She homeschools. and with Sonlight, which is my favorite curriculum.
4. There is less than six degrees of separation in that we share Darcy, the blog decorator extraordinaire over at http://www.graphicallydesigning.com/
5.She loves to decorate. but she's on a tight budget.
6.She hates sewing and has named her trusty glue gun Priscilla. (my glue gun is Charlotte-those names just go together. Maybe our appliances could be friends?)
7.She adores toile fabric. and red. and mixing patterns. yes. yes. and yes.
I am starting to wonder now about DNA testing. Shouldn't we make sure we aren't actually sisters by now? I mean, did I mention she is
8. a short brunette?
okay-Nester. One question. Do you love red licorice? like in a religious fervor kind of way? Because if so, we might need to book a Maury Povich talk show and just get that cotton swab test done and make a parental timeline.
I'm just sayin'.
Oh and look, I copied your window mistreatment tutorial and finally put a valance in our Master Bath. If I promise not to stalk you in real life could you tell me how to get one of those little blog widgets you give out that say "It doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful" because

9. that's like, my life motto.

She does have a nice nest, I'm not going to deny that. But, in her "about me" section she says she is a "girlie girl" who loves to wear high heels. I don't quite see you that way--dirty garden fingernail girl. Though, one of Brian's friends did say you looked "really hot" in your formal wear at our wedding! hee, hee, hee
I read her too! I think I have the post in my bloglines that has the codes for those buttons. I will see if I can get it to you.

Oh Brenda--that was the best post ever--I mean, I love reading all about US and how we are so similar! And Anne, you are right I love to be girly but my nails are usually grimy and never manicured! And love to garden--when we own our home! Love red twizzlers and LOVE black jelly beans!
Your boys are dolls and I think they would get along just fine with my boys and if you came to my door I would SO let you in!
Love the nest at the bottom of your post and LOVE, adore and worship your mistreatment--the fabric--I would fight you for it if it were on sale!
Oh my gosh! I just read "the Nester's" comment and she does sound JUST LIKE YOU! I think the cotton swab is in order. Let her know, would you? (Also tell her that twizzlers are not REAL licorice, only red vines!)
Thanks for stopping by so I could come look at your blog!! First of all, it is so cute! Second of all, I love this mistreatment!!! and Lastly, BEAUTIFUL garden!
