vacation, part 3

For the last 2 days we were in southern California, we stayed with our friends, who moved from here six months ago. They are Greek, homeschool, devoted to Christ and have seven pretty-close-to-perfect children, ranging from 12 to 1 years old. It is official sparrow journey policy not to post photos of other peoples children (so for you H.O.P.E. members-I'll bring the pictures to our next meeting!) After the busyness of the theme parks, it was just so relaxing to hang out, swim, talk, laugh and feast on V's delicious greek cooking! This family has the gift of hospitality and I came home inspired to have others over, more often, also. The kids all played like they had seen each other just last week. So the visit was too short and it was very hard to say goodbye but I wouldn't have ended our trip any other way.
