It's all fun and games until Caleb gets cold, muddy water splashed all over HIM. Then the game is suddenly cruel, unfair and the splasher must be punished severely. Even if the splasher is 34 year old Uncle Tommy. And if said Uncle apologizes with any glimmer of a fun in his eyes? Well then THAT apology is considered null and void, adding insult to injury. It took quite a few soft, reminding words about forgiveness, plus a toasty warm shower and fresh clothes but we were able to restore harmony to our home, eventually.
something we ARE pleased with?! Our family is off to sunny California, for a week of memory making. A Christmas gift from Grampa Del, we are thrilled to experience the following: a trip on an airplane. time with special friends who moved away last year. the hotel with 3 swimming pools. grandparents. Disneyland for 3 days. And best of all for the males under 12 in our household?
