Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young... a place near your altar, O Lord Almighty, my King and my God." Psalm 84:3

whole lotta nasty...

enough to last a week or more! Being a Mama to three boys I have an unusually high "gross out" level. But this week I have reached my limit (and its only Monday)

First, our cat Zuzu was locked out of her Master Bathroom Catbox, where she graciously allows John and I to keep our bedroom furniture. Desperate, she decided that the shallow bins of Legos in the boys bedroom would do as a replacement. She scratched the plastic blocks aside and did her business. The odor gave her secret away fairly quickly. We had to fill the bathtub with bleach water and soap and then soak the precious Legos for a full day. It was stunning to me to realize just how many they've amassed. 7 years of birthdays and Christmas gifts filled the tub half full! We spread them on towels in the living room to finish drying (see above).

Hi! I'm the other simple sparrow!
I'm also a Christian home school mom with 4 boys and one girl. I had to comment on this photo because this lego-fest brought back so many memories! We used to spread them out like this on blankets too! (my 6 yr. old still does)
