Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young... a place near your altar, O Lord Almighty, my King and my God." Psalm 84:3

thanksgiving quote

Tomorrow morning the students of Red Barn Academy are going to get thorough lessons in Pie Formation. (pumpkin, apple and undecided but probably chocolate!) By noon family will be here to help us celebrate a beautiful holiday and I'm fairly certain there won't be another blog post for at least a week. I'll sign off with this little reminder...that one day a year is not enough for such blessings as we get to enjoy. Don't be a miser and save it all up. Let's spread it around a little everyday!

"The Pilgrims made seven times more graves than huts. No Americans have been more impoverished than these who --nevertheless -- set aside a day of thanksgiving." --H. U. Westermayer

Hope you all have a most wonderful thanksgiving! Ours is going to be woefully untraditional, but full of thanks nevertheless!
Blessings!
