Caleb, whispering loudly: "Mom?"
Mom: sleepily: "mmmbbbghgh"
Caleb: "Mom, wake up...listen."
Mom: "mmhm...what?"
Caleb: "did you know everything has a scientific name?!"
Mom: "um-hmm"
Caleb: "like polyvinylidene!"
Mom: "what?"
Caleb: "that's plastic wrap!"
Caleb: "Cool, huh? did you know that?!"
Caleb: "Mom?"
Caleb: "Since you're awake now...can I have some hot cocoa?"

I'm glad you got he possum. Ugh. We've had some rats in the coop- probably just seeking shelter and some chicken food, but they didn't last long either. I'm very protective of "my girls". Having hens is wonderful!
I love all the pictures of the boys!
And finally, you do have a lot of Lego! Peregrine just started his "collection" at his birthday and is getting more for Christmas. Fun stuff. Oh, and I have vague memories of my mom having to wash of all our Lego because it got peed on. My me, no less.
