Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young... a place near your altar, O Lord Almighty, my King and my God." Psalm 84:3

spring has sprung

and this is why I love bulbs...I am a forgetful and impulsive as a gardener. (and okay, as a person) I plant when the urge strikes and I rarely write down the date, place or even the plant's identity. This is a yearly resolution and I am always striving to be more organized as a gardener, but it is a creative endeavor. Those are the most difficult to reign in with lists or plans. Still, there are benefits...each season is a succession of christmas mornings as forgotten purchases pop up out of the ground! I forgot about tucking crocus bulbs about last fall and so the bright purple and green life against brown muck was visual candy on the way to the mailbox this morning.

I wrote about crocus today too! It must be in the air- or in the ground! And reading what you did last night- it sounds like you really should loosen up and let your boys have some fun!
