Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young... a place near your altar, O Lord Almighty, my King and my God." Psalm 84:3

3-D Puzzle Triumph

Josiah loves J.R.R. Tolkein and has read the Lord of the Rings trilogy several times over. So of course, when we saw this 3-D puzzle of the Two Towers at a thrift shop he begged for it. It doesn't make her a bad Mom who simply doesn't want to give $5 for a USED puzzle, that probably has missing pieces ANYWAY and is really too ADVANCED for an 11 yr old, and what will we do with it once it's built, besides? The dark, somber towers of the Isen Guard as a table centerpiece? Simply does not blend with my country chic decor. I would like to tell you all that I gave in because it was educational, a good buy, I am a generous loving parent etc but I have to tell the truth. He bribed me.
A 30 minute shoulder rub next time I ask and this kid could make a living at shoulder/neck massage. He had it built in 2 afternoons, and only 1 piece was missing and I was wrong on all counts, for it looks perfect on the dining room table...
