Brian brought the kids down from Portland yesterday. Anne is back at work, teaching school (and we missed you!) Decided to make a quick trip to the local U-pick farm for peaches. In the summer we are there once a week (or more!) choosing fresh ears of corn, organic salad greens and the best tasting melons EVER. This is the same place we pick strawberries in June, and where we'll be in October, choosing fat round pumpkins...can you tell we love living 10 minutes up the road from such produce perfection!?
Cody was a happy little man and went to town on this fruit. In between servings he squeals and holds out chubby hands in the ageless, instinctual expression which no one needs to teach another...."more, more!"
Isn't Caitlin the cutest thing under the tree? Oh my yes. Especially since her competition under said trees consisted of only rotten orbs of fruit flesh, swarming with gluttonous wasps.
With Brian taking pictures, I am finally on this blog...hiding behind a tree, but still.
My brother made this face in the 3rd grade and still looks like this.

That Bodacious corn they had was super good too.
The tree framing your face is very artistic for those of us with the photographic EYE, you wouldn't understand... plus those leaves make you look like you have a big ol' green beard. hahahahaha.
