Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young... a place near your altar, O Lord Almighty, my King and my God." Psalm 84:3

and the winner is...

Daddy, by 4 points. Shamelessly taking advantage of the judges weakness for violence he created a giant spaceship, with teeth like a crocodile, 7 plus weapons, rocket engines and a pirate flag. The boys reassured Mama that she HAD made a "cute little house" and Uncle Tommy's skateboard ramp was nice too...but Dad easily won first place. Afterwards we losers consoled ourselves with pound cake, ice cream and rhubarb sauce! No, truthfully, the boys were such good sports. It was awesome to see the brothers encouraging each other and complimenting each one's creation. Josiah even said "Sam, I felt terrible giving you a 2 for size-next time please make it bigger so you won't force my hand..."
In summary, I think family Lego nights will be a long standing tradition for a few months (or at least until I can beat John...)
