Sam made Daddy a calendar for his desk at work. It has a portrait of Dad catching a big ole fish and Sam carefully took each color of marker and made stripes on the side. He knows Dad prefers Rainbow Trout!
It was wonderful to see evidence of our kids growing up. This year there were little coupons, cards, and pictures secretly tucked in our stockings by little hands. Josiah, especially, was careful to make sure not just his parents, but his brothers too received a special gift. Coupons to "play whatever you want" and "your choice of one Lego Jedi from my collection" given. Joy from giving, as well as receiving? That's one of the highest indicators of maturity and naturally made it to his parents top ten list of "Great Holiday Memory 2007"!!
