Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young... a place near your altar, O Lord Almighty, my King and my God." Psalm 84:3

Happy Thanksgiving!

I packed the swimsuits for the hotel pool, baked the yeast rolls, and fed the cat. Now we can load the 'Burban and head up to Portland to celebrate! We get to go to two houses, for two meals, with two different families to love on--you know we feel twice as blessed as anyone else!
I hope your day is filled with the knowledge of where all your blessings truly come from, and that your heart is overwhelmed with praise and thanks to Him. And I hope that gratitude feels so good you decide to fan the flame and continue the experience, the next day. and the next. and the next.
"It is literally true, as the thankless say, that they have nothing to be thankful for. He who sits by the fire, thankless for the fire, is just as if he had no fire. Nothing is possessed save in appreciation, of which thankfulness is the indispensable ingredient. But a thankful heart hath a continual feast."
~W.J. Cameron

"The unthankful heart... discovers no mercies; but let the thankful heart sweep through the day and, as the magnet finds the iron, so it will find, in every hour, some heavenly blessings!"
~Henry Ward Beecher

"Thanksgiving, man. Not a good day to be my pants."
~Kevin James
