lovin' from the oven

Claudia and Caleb have made brownies together so often that he calls her "my little brownie maker". She has a "secret" brand of mix that she stocks up on for these baking ventures. When we stayed in their guest room at Christmas, we noticed the spare closet was stuffed with boxes of this mix. The proof of her love and dedication to this sweet tradition when she explained "I was afraid they might discontinue it."
For this Memorial Day weekend, Grandma and Grandpa drove down from Washington to stay with us. Grandma brought a package this weekend as Caleb knew she would.
And once again, they baked.
