Saturday was Grandma Claudia's birthday. The secret celebration referred to in a previous post involved this...a talent show by the grandsons!
Sam and Caleb wrote and starred in two plays. Here Caleb plays Grandma C. She is a patient to Dr. Psycho, played by Sam. She came to see him from a broken heart, caused by not living near her "three adorable grandsons".
The cure was a tad gruesome and involved a large plastic ninja sword and much screeching...
Josiah wrote an ode to her via an acrostic poem. There were tears slipping from behind Grandma's sunglasses by the time he finished reading it!
Besides the talent show we had Aunt Julie and Tara here to help celebrate her special day. Throw in a few rounds of Wii bowling, and a delicious dessert of strawberries and ice cream and lots of love and laughter. Thanks for sharing your birthday with us Claudia...we miss you already.
