Sam-isms

Here are two clever things our sweetheart Sam has said this week:

while I was lamenting my short stature of 5'4" Sam interrupted with a little trivia:

"You should be grateful Mom. In ancient times the there were so few nutrients, that women in Greenland rarely grew past four feet."

We were on our way out the door when he looked down at my shoes and gasped

"Mom! You seriously need to get some new shoes!"

Now these are cute little brown suede sneakers, made by "Simple", and pretty new, so I asked why he felt so strongly about them? And he very seriously replied:

"Sheesh, Mom! When was the last time they made shoes out of burlap?"
