As my observant little brother pointed out in the comments last week, the new mudroom was nice but quite drafty. We tried to remedy that this week with walls and wood and insulation. We even have windows!
Today the boys and I went "to town" and had the exterior paint tinted a deep olive green. The spring list of chores is pretty long this year. At the top of the list is "painting the house". To say I have been looking forward to that is a serious understatement. My hands have been itching to get a brush in them and if this reluctant Oregon sun will EVER start to cooperate? Then this little house will be green within 2 weeks!
