Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young... a place near your altar, O Lord Almighty, my King and my God." Psalm 84:3

Sunday outing

An island! The boys make their way across treacherous roaring rapids, Sam in the lead of course, to take dominion of their own little continent...

Waving at Mama, safe in her beach chair with her stack of books, cold diet pepsi and a camera...silly girls, they don't know how to have FUN...

woohoo, but the McKenzie River IS cold!

John has a fishing hole he loves and we persuaded him to take us along Sunday afternoon-promising to be quiet, to stay away from "his" fish, to not throw too many rocks his direction, etc. Packed a picnic lunch, slathered on the sunscreen and took off-it was a beautiful day, hot, (for our area anyway, I know you Yakima folks would find that cool and refreshing!) at a little over 80 degrees. No fish were biting but it was a great afternoon, just enjoying God's creation, and each other.
